Dunstan High School entered the YES (Young Enterprise Association) competition after being absent for a couple of years. A group of fourteen Year 12 would-be entrepreneurs went to Cromwell for the launch of the competition.

Only Ruan De Witt and Maz Cameron managed to pass the first round of the competition which entailed having their products verified for possible market success. On 17 June, they had to present their product to a panel of judges at Presbyterian Church in Cromwell. They were very nervous as the panel consisted of marketing experts, business owners and financial specialists.

They did an amazing job presenting their product and the judges were very impressed with their presentation and the product itself. Out of 68 schools that presented their product in the region, they came 2nd! We are very proud of these two students.

The next round would need them to test their product, find sponsors or business partners and marketing. We will find out during the course of the third term whether they will move on to the next round of the competition.

Well done Simple Farming Solutions!
