Ethan Drake, 13 Haast attended the National Youth Festival for St John In Wellington, from 17th to 19th April. He was representing the South Island region as Team Leader. Ethan participated in Advanced First Aid Scenarios, Drill and Communication. He gained first place in the Communication Test, second place in Team Trauma and first place in Pairs 1 and 2 competition. Ethan was recognised for his leadership by gaining second place as a Team Leader and his team gained third place overall. South Island won the prize for the Champion Region - winning 22 trophies in total.
