Mandate for Masks on School Buses
Kia ora Parents/Caregivers. I hope this finds you well. The Ministry of Education (MOE) has today informed us that all students over the age of 12 are now required to wear masks on MOE buses.
For those of you that use the school bus service, could you please ensure that your child has a mask and wears it on the bus from Thursday 28th October. If this is not possible, or your child has an exemption that permits them not wear a mask, please contact our bus controller, John Mawhinney on [email protected].
From this Thursday 28th October we may not be able to let students without masks on the school bus unless they have an exemption. The school is not able to supply masks aside from one-off situations of mask breakage or loss. Masks are not a requirement within school grounds at this stage.
