Sophie Smith in the Under 18 single fared similarly, eighth in the country, a great, gutsy effort. 

Sophie Smith & Pipi Horan teamed up together in the U18 double and had a fantastic race, finishing with a silver medal. 

Pipi Horan backed this up the following day with a superb display of grit and determination, heading the field for the whole 2000m despite numerous attacks from competitors, winning the U17 singles race....very classy. 

The boys in the squad had a strong showing throughout the week and sculled very well.

DHS and the wider community would like to thank parents, in particular, Rich Morris & Maria Williams for feeding and supervising the squad throughout the week.

Once again DHS cannot thank Simon Smith enough for his passion and expertise in his role as coach and mentor to all.
