She placed 2nd overall in her level for her individual routine representing both Dunstan High School & Astra Gymnastics (her Aerobics club).  Dannika received a score that was over the qualifying mark (for the 3rd time this year).  This enables Dannika to be eligible to be selected and named in the Otago Aerobics Team (named later in May/early June) to travel to Invercargill for Gymnastics New Zealand Nationals in the July school holidays.  

Dannika was also part of a group routine (Aerodance) with her Aerobics Club that involved another 4 girls (aged 14-23 years) and they received 2nd place in their category, also receiving a score higher than the qualifying mark (for the 1st time this year).
