Adulting 101 - Monday 15 August
On Monday 15th August our Year 12 and 13 students started off the week with an introduction to a few things that will come in handy after our Dunstan journey.
Adulting 101 was put together by the local Youth Council and Puna Rangatahi and covered lots of useful tools such as car maintenance, budgeting advice and employability skills. It was a great day filled with learning outside the classroom that many seniors will be able to apply in the not so distant future.
The day wouldn’t have been made possible without the effort of Puna Rangatahi. If you're keen to get involved with them, a great way would be to join the Central Otago Youth Council which is always looking for new members who are keen to make positive changes in the community.
You can get in touch with the COYC Chair Tabitha Hildyard, any of the student leadership or the office and they will send you in the right direction!
