This course is spread over 5 sessions and includes:

• Four classroom sessions - (2 hour sessions)
  • Dates:  October 16, 18, 23, 29
  • Times: 15:30-17:30
• One in-car practical session (1 hour)

The Street Talk Defensive Driving classroom sessions are interactive and engaging with topics and group discussions covering real life scenarios. After the four classroom sessions a one-hour in-car practical drive and assessment will take place. 

The practical session should be in your own road-worthy car. Practical driving times are scheduled to suit, the drive must be completed within 60 days of the last in-person session. 

People who complete this course reduce the restricted licence period by 6 months if under 25 years, or 3 months if over 25 years of age.

People on a learner licence can complete this course as long as they are confident enough to complete the 1-hour practical drive.
