Student BOT Representative Election 2024
Please note that the process is in line with National and Local Elections
Guidelines and Information for Candidates:
Student nominations will open on Tuesday the 20th of August (Week 5)
Student nominations will close on Friday the 30th of August. (Week 6)
Student profiles need to be submitted to Mrs Coombs by 3pm Monday the 2nd of September. (Week 7)
Student profiles will be printed and put up around school from Tuesday 3rd of September until Monday 23rd of September (4.30pm).
There will be a meeting with Mr Clapham on Monday 9th of September at 1.20 in C1, to go over the requirements for candidates, introducing themselves on September the 13th In assembly. (Week 8)
Other material put up by candidates must be appropriate for school e.g. language
Any material posted by students and other electioneering must stop at the end of the day, Monday 23rd of September (4.30pm).
All candidates will speak briefly on Friday September 13th (Week 8) – the following is a guideline: approx. 1 minute

Voting will occur on Tuesday, 24th September (Week 10), electronically during Wananga. Year 9 – 12 students are able to vote. No electioneering is permitted on this day. (All profiles and other material must be taken down by Monday 23rd of September 4.30pm).
