Liam Rees had a very successful swimming meet (South Island Long Course Championships), taking out the:

Gold medals in 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke, and 200m backstroke

Silver medal in 50m Freestyle

Bronze medals in 100m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly

In the 15 to 16 age category

Other successes were had by Caleb Ludlow who gained:

Gold medals in 50m breaststroke, 100m breaststroke, 200m breaststroke.
