All year we have been supported by you - our community, and this was our opportunity to show our appreciation for your support and to say, thank you. Over four weeks we had small groups of students undertaking activities such as planting native trees, making plaques and thank you gifts for our school sponsors, taking time at the Alexandra Baptist Church working with young people, reading to young children in childcare and primary schools, working on bike track maintenance and busking with some awesome musical performances in the town centre. These electives are part of the Whanau Ora pastoral care system we have been developing here at Dunstan High School, and we are looking forward to seeing how we can again connect with you in the community, in 2024.
