This equipment was able to be purchased due to the support of our annual golf tournament, and through a Tu Manawa funding initiative to use Steive Paine to increase the use of our school weights room. Several of our Year 9 and Year 10 students have taken up the opportunity to learn how to use the equipment in the weights room correctly so they can use the room for recreation, injury rehabilitation and pre-season training. It is hoped this initiative can continue in 2024.
