The Good Life is a day based group with goals to support, empower and give direction to young adults with disabilities. Fridays are a highlight of my week as I enjoy going to see them all. We have so much fun. We do activities, bake, cook lunch and go on walks. The other day we went for hockey hits and played a game. I've been curling and gone to the movies with them. I feel very privileged to be able to have this opportunity to go and hangout and spend time with them. I really appreciate how supportive and understanding Renee has been over the past two terms with flexibility with my placement days. My work placement days have been very valuable to me as it is something that I am considering and interested in doing in my future.
