It is honestly one of the best experiences of my life.

I help to mix ingredients to make slices, give coffee to customers, and wash dishes. Becs (the cafe owner) is very nice and helps me understand how the kitchen works. 

After this experience, I am now more certain than ever that this is the career path I'll take, at least for the short term. My hope is that someday, this placement can become a paid part-time job either at the CourtHouse or in another cafe/restaurant. 

Thanks to all the employees at the courthouse for making me feel welcome, as well as Kylie Wild and Ms. Kelly for giving me the opportunity.
