Although we lost the game, the team played very well and was commended on their behaviour by the referee. It was a very physical game and DHS team kept their cool and played a controlled game of football. DHS supporters noted the high level of sportsmanship throughout the game. In the end a well deserved second place.

The team is currently running the DHS Primary School Futsal Competition as a fundraiser for the tournament and to help promote football in the area. The boys are off to Dunedin for the annual Linwood Tournament where they will compete against 19 other schools. It is a great opportunity to experience football at a higher level as options in Central are limited. We wish them all the best!
