On 10th - 12th March, 22 students competed in the South Island Secondary Schools Rowing Champs. They had a very successful weekend, with five crews winning medals in A finals as follows:

Tahlia Nelson won gold in the Girls Under 16 Single Sculls.

Phoebe Harrex, Bella Breen, Poppy Tuffin, Sophie Tate and Emer Bryant (cox) won gold in the Girls Under 18 Novice Coxed Quad Sculls.

Ruby Smith, Tahlia Nelson, Ellie King, Emer Bryant and Lily Kain (cox) won silver in the Girls Under 16 Coxed Quad Sculls.

Jed McIntosh won silver in the Boys Under 18 Single Sculls.

Tahlia Nelson and Emer Bryant won Bronze in the Girls Under 16 Double Sculls.
