Dunstan High School entered a Junior Girls team in the league - playing home and away every Monday afternoon/evening for six weeks

The Team included: Ellie King, Kim Dacosta, Tahlia Nelson, Fern Cameron and Ruby Smith. We also had two Year 8 students, Paige Adams and Lily Finlay in the team to boost numbers.

The team went through the competition undefeated in all six games. They had tough games against a well drilled and large Wakatipu High School Team, coming from behind on two occasions to take the win - the first time being an overtime victory.

It was great to see the girls look to develop their skills and teamwork over the six weeks, moving the ball to create space and taking the high percentage shot. There are some super skills in this team and they will be welcomed into the senior A’s in the near future.
