This work will not be carried out on weekends or public holidays.
The following sites will be targeted for treatment on
Lake Dunstan

- Lowburn Boat Harbour
- Lowburn Inlet
- McNulty's Inlet
- Northburn Ski Lane
- Pisa Mooring
Diquat in gel form will treat aquatic weeds in the lake. This work depends on suitable weed, water, and weather conditions; therefore, the timing is subject to change without notification.
We recommend a 24-hour stand-down on swimming, fishing and taking water for irrigation or domestic supply once the spraying is complete according to the label recommendations.
We have attached the diquat factsheet produced by NIWA. This gives an overview of how and why we use diquat as a tool for restoration.
We have also attached a map of where we will be undertaking control of lake weed.
